Tech Direction Introduces: The Mission Impossible Award

July 7, 2025

Nominate an amazing technician for solving complex design challenges with creativity and skill

Do you know a technician or technical team who pulled off the seemingly impossible? We're talking about those brilliant minds who took a challenging design concept and, through sheer ingenuity and skill, made it a breathtaking reality on stage.

The "Mission Impossible" Award celebrates the ultimate in technical problem-solving and creativity. We're looking for nominations that showcase:

  • The Technicians or Technical Team’s Challenge: Tell us about the initial design concept and the technical hurdles it presented – think complex automation, unique materials, or unconventional staging.
  • How the Team or Technician Showed Innovation: How did they overcome these challenges? Did they invent new methods, custom-build machinery, or find novel uses for existing tech?

Nominate a deserving individual or team for The "Mission Impossible" Award and help us shine a spotlight on the technical wizards who make the impossible, possible!

Nomination submissions close on August 5, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST.
